Check existence of files if Daw integration doesn't work as expected
For Cubase and Nuendo there are two files that are absolutely required (by the plugin) but that might be missing.
In the Cubase/Nuendo folder at "%appdata%\Steinberg" there should be a "Defaults.xml" and a "Key Commands.xml" file. A potential problem is freshly installed programs, because these files are created first when a change from the standard definitions is made.
The Defaults.xml file is pretty likely to exist since any change to Cubase/Nuendo parameters will cause the file to be created.
The Key Command definitions in Cubase/Nuendo might look alright when you open the Key Commands dialog, but unless you actually has made any change to the default commands, there is no file. If you get some kind of error message indicating that the Key Commands.xml file is missing, try to do some minor change to the commands in Cubase/Nuendo. That will force the file to be created. You can then undo the change if you like, the file will continue to exist.
