Folder detection for LE/AI/Elements doesn't work as expected
FIXED in version 2.0.0!
The plugin evaluates the folder names in "%appdata%\Steinberg" in order to locate the latest version installed. The way the folder name detection is made, it will fail to detect LE/AI/Elements versions. In order to use the plugin with those Cubase/Nuendo versions you need to add the path to the folder in the "StreamDeckCubaseUserSettings.xml"/"StreamDeckNuendoUserSettings.xml" file. If you haven't used that file before, please make a copy of the file in the plugin folder (see below) and save it to your Documents folder before making any changes. Don't make any changes to the original file in the plugin folder.
To use the plugin with Cubase LE AI Elements 10.5_64 (as an example) you need to have the following path statement in the xml file in your Documents folder:
<CubasePath>%appdata%\Steinberg\Cubase LE AI Elements 10.5_64</CubasePath>
In order for the change to take effect you must restart Stream Deck. Right click on the Stream Deck icon in the notification area and select "Quit Stream Deck". Then restart Stream Deck.
Problem detected in plugin version 1.4.6 (Cubase). The same problem most probably exist in the Nuendo plugin version 1.0.4
Cubase plugin folder: "%appdata%\Elgato\StreamDeck\Plugins\se.trevligaspel.cubase.sdPlugin"
Nuendo plugin folder: "%appdata%\Elgato\StreamDeck\Plugins\se.trevligaspel.nuendo.sdPlugin"
