updating a Streamdeck plugin

Hi everyone,

Two 'very noobie' questions I'm hoping someone can quickly answer:

1.  What is the process to update the midi plugin?

I haven't found anything about this on this forum or in Elgato Streamdeck forum.

Do I have to uninstall and then install the new version? If so, are my settings, etc., preserved?

2. Is there a way of checking which version of the midi plugin is installed?

Hi,

1. When an update is available in the store, it will be automatically installed the next time you start the Stream Deck software. You can trigger the update manually by navigating to the plugin in the store and clicking the "Update" button. You don't need to uninstall the previous version; even if you did, your settings would be preserved.
   
2. You can check the installed version by right-clicking any action in the action list. For the Midi plugin, you can also expand the "Help and logging" section at the bottom on any button in the editor, and the version is displayed at the very bottom.
