Cannot reinstall Cubase plugin

Hi, 
For what kind of reason I decided to uninstall the Cubase plugin. So far, so good. 
But when I tried to install the same plugin again, the plugin store showed that the plugin can only be uninstalled.

I did reinstalled the stream deck program itself, without any success. 

What do I have to do to get Cubase plugin installed again?

For some reason, Stream Deck sometimes has problems uninstalling plugins. What you need to do, is to delete the plugin folder manually. Please do as follows:

• Stop the Stream Deck software (Stream Deck icon - Quit Stream Deck)
  
• Delete the plugin folder:
  
  • Windows: "%appdata%\Elgato\StreamDeck\Plugins\se.trevligaspel.cubase.sdPlugin"
    
  • macOS: "~/Library/Application Support/com.elgato.StreamDeck/Plugins/se.trevligaspel.cubase.sdPlugin"
    
• Start the Stream Deck software.
  
• Install the plugin.
  

Unfortunately, I have not found that folder. I did found the plugin folder and renamed it. started streamdeck again. It shortened the list of plugins but in the store the Cubase plugin was only to Uninstall  
I did uninstalled streamdeck and in the register I searched for Elgato and deleted every value or key. installed streamdeck again. And fortunately, I could install Cubase plugin  . 
But there should be a better way to re-install a plugin.

I know that Stream Deck occasionally can fail in uninstalling a plugin, and the situations I'm aware of are if there are opened/locked files in the plugin folder. When that happens, Stream Deck manages to remove some files but not all, leaving the plugin in an unusable state. A manual delete of the folder (after having released whatever lock there was on files) fixes the problem.

Your situation seems to have been more complex, and I don't know what could cause that to happen.
