Translation File for Reaper?
Is there plans for such thing or how could I do it myself? Any of the other files (premade ones) seem to produce wrong display values. The closest thing is the Cubase/Nuendo one.
Been trying to get my StreamDeck to work as a temporary controller for Reaper faders. I'll obviously someday replace it with a proper DAW with sliders & all. Everything else from muting to switching FX presets works flawlessly with this plugin. Just can't seem to figure out how to change value of the sliders.
If anyone here is using Reaper, how can I change the increment of the sliders and how to use the StreamDeck plugin's button sliders with Reaper (send & receive correct value currently only sending works for me)?

Re: Translation File for Reaper?
I don't have Reaper, so I can't create a file.
You need a "db File", not a "translation file". The main difference is that in a translation file, you must define every midi value for which you want a translated value, while a db File interpolates between values in the file.
Creating a db File is manual work since you must find the mappings between midi values and the displayed db Values. The documentation describes the procedure on this page.

I have downloaded reaper, managed to get my stream deck controlling the master fader but same as you I cannot figure out how to get the master fader from reaper to send midi info to stream deck.

Re: Translation File for Reaper?
Hello.
I have built the xml dbCurve for reaper.
I am unable to add it here, even in TXT format.
File converted into .zip
Follow the procedure below to add it into midi plugin:

That's odd. .txt files should be fine.
Try to zip it and see if that works better.

Re: Translation File for Reaper?
You have defined db values for all midi values. It's a tedious job but gives the best result. Good job.
I'm about to release a minor plugin update. If Reaper users agree this is a good file, I can include it in the package.
