Can the midi plugin receive midi?

Just got the Stream Deck +. Is it possible for the midi plugin to receive CC messages so that the state of the faders/knobs are updated to incoming value?

Of course.

Working now! Had to create another IAC driver bus, as using the same bus for input in the plugin didn't work very well (midi through disabled in the program used). Anyway, an additional midi bus solved the problem

Totalmix FX is the software from RME to control RME USB audio interface.
I'd like to control Totalmix FX through your plugin. I'm using the last version of the plugin with streamdeck plus on macOS Catalina.
I added 2 ports (SD2RME and RME2SD) in IAC driver and use them to send/receive midi signals between StreamDeck and Totalmix FX.
Sending is OK, fader moves in Totalmix FX when I rotate StreamDeck dial.
But plugin doesn't receive any CC when I move fader on Totalmix FX with mouse. In pluginlog.txt, I can see that plugin receives a midi note on channel 16 every 820ms, like a heartbeat. But no trace of any CC 
I also tried to use that plugin with Lightroom. Same behaviour, sending is OK to Lightroom (through MIDI2LR plugin for Lightroom) but nothing is received.
I cannot find what setting is wrong.
I also tried with StreamDeck2Daw and Daw2StreamDeck ports which I already had set up with no success.
If you have an idea, let me know.

I'm unfamiliar with Totalmix, but looking at the info you sent, everything seems to be configured correctly.

The log file shows that Totalmix is sending CC values as a response when you move the Stream Deck dial (as it should do), and the note that is sent is Totalmix's loop detection. Obviously, Totalmix is communicating on the Midi port. It is not clear whether or not you moved the fader on Totalmix while logging.

Unfortunately, I have no idea why Totalmix isn't sending anything when you move the fader in Totalmix, but it must be something in the Totalmix configuration.
