Bank Select: Need Null Options

Use case: 

Articulation switcher for orchestral instruments in a DAW

Some libraries only need an MSB or LSB message so I have many many instruments whose expression maps have a null input (seen as "-") in the respective field. Need the option to not send a message to those but you only allow the lowest value of 0 which is not the same. To format my entire system to have 0 where either MSB or LSB are null across all my scripts and midnam files would be way too much work, but if you can add this I'd use it.
