Communication loss Empty Communication loss

Post by sunsetmids Mon Apr 29, 2024 1:01 pm

Hi Gunnar,
I hope all is well.

SD     V 6.6.0 (20583)
MIDI  V 3.9.2.2

I'm using the Mackie Control/ Selected Channel/ Fader

I've updated both the SD and your MIDI plugin to the latest versions and I seem to have lost communication.
I've tried to 'test' the MIDI stream using the test option provided by the Mac app 'AudioMIDI'
but it seems that the AudioMIDI app is not receiving any MIDI DATA from the SD
On the SD end, when I press the fader buttons;  the 'Channel Unknown' appears momentary.

I believe my settings are correct but perhaps they're not, am not sure

Any ideas?

Thank you

Ben

The  'Channel Unknown' message is displayed when a button or dial is configured to control "Selected Channel" somehow, but the plugin does not know which channel is selected.

The solution is normally to select a channel (within the eight-channel range currently mapped to the Mackie Control device defined for the plugin).

Once the plugin gets information about which channel is selected, the warning message should not be displayed.
