Idea: Paging Status LCD

Hi! It could be great if in a future update you considered add a "Paging Status LCD". This for see the Number of parameter page in Plugin Mode, and dont move pages blindly.

There is page information like that on the LCD strips.



The Mackie Control protocol doesn't have any other commands (than for the LCD strips) for text info, so I can't see any way to add more than what's already there.

 Im sorry if I ask again, but I cant find that Strip LCD, in which menu is in the Stream Deck Menu?

Mackie Control action.
Section: any channel.
Function: Scribble Strip LCD

Im not shure why I cant find that info in the LCD STRIP, which DAW are using in that image?

That image is taken using Cubase.

Honestly, I would be very surprised if you managed to find any reliable way of getting the information you want. The LCD strip is the only situation I'm aware of where text information can be transmitted using Midi, and it's all up to the daw to decide what to show there. Different daws display different information and depending on the current Mackie Control state (decided by the daw and by buttons on the Mackie Control device), different sets of information are displayed.

By setting the daw in a very specific state, you might get information on the LCD strips that mention pages, but I doubt it's the page information you want. Sorry.

So that the reason why I dont see it using Studio One, I will keep doing tests. Thnks!
